  • Minsuk Oh (SNU) – For his critical work in muon trigger development for the HLT Phase-II TDR and his outstanding contributions to the Run2 muon HLT over many years
  • Inseok Yoon (SNU) – For this intensive work to ensure Korean foil production and certification towards GE21, through the setup of a test facility in Korea for ageing studies and the crucial establishment of the certification process with all relevant tests

Feb. 2019 – CMS Achievement Award 2018

  • Kyeongpil Lee (SNU) – For playing a major role in the recent developments of the muon HLT reconstruction and in all related studies, which in 2018 allowed CMS to overcome all previous limitations

Dec. 2017 – CMS Detector Awards 2017

  • Minho Kang (Korea U.) – For outstanding contribution to the production and quality control of the RPC gaps for CMS RPC RE4/3, 4/2 at KODEL (Korea Detector Laboratory), and for invaluable work on developing a new generation of RPC for the RE3/4-1 chambers for the Phase-2 Muon Upgrade

  • 유재혁 (Korea U.) – 입자물리실험 분야의 에너지프런티어 실험으로 CMS실험에서 강력한 리더쉽을 발휘하고, 새로운 물리현상을 탐색하는 부분전하 탐색 실험을 진행함

May. 2020 – 2020봄 한국물리학회상

  • 문창성 (KNU) – CMS실험에서 monojet을 이용한 암흑물질 탐색에 공헌하였고 CMS Level 1 Pixel trigger R&D 연구에서도 핵심적인 역할을 담당함

May 2017 – 2017봄 한국물리학회상

  • 유휘동 (SNU) – LHC 가속기 및 CMS 검출기를 사용한 입자물리 실험 분야의 세계적인 전문가로서 Drell-Yan 반응 및 dilepton 에서의 new physics 연구 분야에서 독보적인 연구업적을 이루어오고 있음. 특히 2014 년 Fermilab 우수연구자상, 2016 년 포스코 청암 펠로우쉽 수상 등 국내외적으로 연구 업적을 인정받고 있으며, 앞으로 한국의 고에너지 물리학 발전에 크게 공헌할 학자로 기대됨
