Tried CMSSW_2_2_3 for the alignment study

Comment from cosmic muon analysis meeting
  • for the scatter plot, check eta dependence (divide the plot by eta... etc)
  • don't use CMSSW_2_2_0. use CMSSW_2_2_4 (it will be released soon)
  • check for other runs too
  • let's check if I really selected 1 track event for the both alignments (comment from myself)


Plan to do for the alignment study
  • update with new tag: CRAFT_ALL_V4 (old one is CRAFT_ALL_V3)
  • title change : "Effect of alignment on muon reconstruction (event-by-event)"
  • specify exactly what 'IDEAL' mean
  • 1D histograms of the difference between two alignments, eg #_of_tracker_hits_NEW - # of tacker hit_IDEAL
  • look at the reconstructed pT and charge, for STA muons, tracker track and global muon
  • why there is big spike at 1 hit in the 'number of tracker hits'?
    • I have both reco products (with the different alignments) in the same file in the same event, look at both alignments in Iguana and see what is happening (eg how it is possible that a tracker track can loose all its hits)
