How to take the RPC CAF shift

Instruction

  • Have a look at detail information here
  • Must have certificate to see Run Registry GUI, Offline RPC and Online RPC.
  • How to fill up the e-log, you can find e-log here
  • From the "#Run" you should find "/Mu/Run2010B-PromptReco-v4/RECO" data set
  • Example of e-log

Run 146434 : collision (GOOD/BAD ????) >> have to conclude after filling up everything
>> go to offline summary page, see "workspace/RPC/Layout/"
>> find RPC Events plot and fill up it
>> from Run Registry GUI, find the number of total events and fill up
# RPC Events = 166655 , total = 2001687 
# of good RPC Lumi Section (only for collision data) = ( 100 %)
>> from Run Registry find and calculate the Lumisection of the ratio (RPC Lumisection)/(total Lumisection) and fill up 
# FED errors = 0
>> from workspace/RPC/Layout find the FED errors
# of strips to mask = 4893
# of strips to unmask = 482
>> use the noise tools
